European Union
Directive (2002/95/EC), better known as The Restriction of Hazardous
Substances (RoHS), affects manufacturers, sellers and distributors of
electrical and electronic equipment and components. Its goal is to
protect the environment and human health through the restriction of
certain hazardous substances. In particular:

including, lead/tin solder

Mercury
-
Cadmium
-
Hexavalent
chromium
-
Polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) and
-
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs)
To the best of our
knowledge, none of Cool Polymers’ raw material suppliers use these
materials in the manufacture of their products.
CoolPoly thermally
conductive plastics listed in the following table, comply with
Directive 2002/95/EC with respect to the Restriction of Hazardous
Substances (RoHS).

Additional Regulatory Compliance
EU
The substances in this preparation have been checked against the
European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances (EINECS),
the European List of Notified Chemical Substances (ELINCS), and the
no Longer Polymer (NLP) list. Substances not identified on these
inventories are exempt. Canada All components of CoolPoly
products are on the Domestic Substances List. Japan All
components of CoolPoly products are included on the Japanese (ENCS)
Inventory or are not required to be listed.
Australia
All the components of CoolPoly products are listed on the Australian
Inventory of Chemical Substances (AICS). China All the
components of CoolPoly products are listed on the draft Inventory of
Existing Chemical Substances in China. Korea All the
components of CoolPoly products are on the Existing Chemicals List (ECL)
in Korea. CoolPoly products do not contain any new chemicals, toxic
chemicals, restricted or prohibited chemicals regulated under the
Toxic Chemicals Control Law. Philippines All the components of CoolPoly Products
are listed on the Philippine Inventory of Chemicals and Chemical
Substances (PICCS). United States All of the components of
CoolPoly products are on the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)
